·        What is meant by the term “homeowner association”? You have purchased in a homeowners association which means you are automatically a member of the association.  As a member you are required to pay an annual assessment and to maintain your home to certain standards.  The advantages of living in a homeowner association are that home values tend to stay higher because homes must be maintained to certain standards and you have a sense of belonging when you live here.

·        What is the present amount of the assessment and what is the money spent on?  The  assessment is due on the 1st of each month.  This money is used for lawn service for the association land, association management, insurance, reserves for the water system, roofs, building maintenance and legal fees, etc.

·        What are some other ways I can get general information about Meadowood? The best way is to attend the board meetings.  The dates and times are posted in advance on the bulletin board at the entrances, but we also have an online calendar to post those events as well.· We are trying to keep the website updated with articles of interest and email blasts for important updates. Make sure to register here to get emails sent to you automatically!      

        What is the procedure if I want to make an improvement to the exterior of my unit?  You must complete a one-page form detailing your request and submit it to the management company.
